Abstract: 

The aim of this presentation is to analyze the Presidential Decree No 148/2009 which transposed the Directive 2004/35/ EC into Greek Law. Emphasis will be given on the weaknesses as well as the stricter provisions of the Greek text. Finally, it will be presented the Greek cases regarding environmental liability.
