Abstract: 

Genetic Resources (GRs) are of tremendous practical and historical significance for human life. International and EU developments in GRs (Convention on Biological Diversity, the Nagoya Protocol and Regulation EU 511/2014) consist a challenge for the national legislator, who must immediately take the necessary compliance initiatives and formulate a national road map for them.
