The Greek GREEN FUND with its Decision No. 121.5/2017 co-finances the LIFE14 GIE/GR/000026 – LIFE Natura Themis project with the amount of € 37,000.

The LIFE Natura Themis project is being implemented from October 2015 to September 2020 (duration 5 years). The Coordinating Beneficiary of the project is the University of Crete – Natural History Museum of Crete, while Associated Beneficiaries are the Chania Bar Association (CB), the Heraklion Bar Association (HB), the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (HSPN) and the Coordination Office for the Implementation of Environmental Liability (COIEL) of the Ministry of Environment and Energy (YPEN).

The total budget of the LIFE Natura Themis project amounts to € 1,580,117. The European Commission / EASME co-finances the project at a rate of 59.22% (60.00% of the total eligible costs, i.e. € 935,782), while the project co-beneficiaries cover 40.78% of the budget with own resources (the total amount of own participation of the project Beneficiaries amounts to € 644,375).
