LIFE Natura Themis aims:
- to promote awareness within organizations and citizens that environmental crime is a separate criminal law field, with individual responsibility applying on preventing and remedying damage.
- to justify against stakeholders, that the proper implementation of the environmental law promotes local development and social cohesion and ensures the sound use of environmental resources.
- to cultivate skills and competences in groups directly involved with the project, as integrating biodiversity protection issues in their function, effectively prevent and prosecute environmental crime, and provide best possible compensation for damage to the environment and biodiversity.
- to work on an attitude change of the responsible clerks and citizens in prosecuting environmental crime and avoiding environmental damage and applying remedying measures.
