Lawyers in private practice, judges, regulators and civil servants working on environmental matters all over Europe, attended the Annual Conference on European Environmental Law which took place in Trier Germany, on 30 and 31 March, 2017.

The coordinator of the project LIFE Natura Themis, on behalf of Heraklion Bar Association, Dr. Giorgos Sbokos, participated in this meeting and noted the main conclusions of the conference.

The aim of this event was to meet the requirements of environmental law specialists to stay up-to-date on the latest developments regarding legislation, jurisprudence and best practice in this field.
