With 180 participants from 45 countries took place in London on 8-12 October 2018 the 29th Meeting of the INTERPOL Wildlife Crime Working Group (WCWG).
The Coordinator of the Environmental Law Observatory of West Crete, Mrs Maria Maniadaki took part in the Meeting on 8 and 9 October 2018.
During these days best practices and elements of a successful prosecution have been presented, while the need of a strong cooperation among prosecuting authorities, the private sector, the academics and the civil society has been underlined.
Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, honoured by his presence the Meeting and granted WCWG awards.
