The Environmental Law Observatories in full operation

The Environmental Law Observatories (ELO) of East and West Crete started operating in early 2017. The two Observatories were created within the project and work under the supervision of the Bar Associations of Heraklion and Chania respectively, in autonomous facilities in Heraklion and Chania.

The East Crete ELO operates under the auspices of the Heraklion Bar Association (HBA) Heraklion, managed by the project coordinator on behalf of HBA, Dr. George Sbokos, lawyer. Its area of responsibility inlcudes the Regional Units of Heraklion and Lasithi. The East Crete ELO is based in Heraklion, 51, Dikaiosinis Avenue, GR 712 01. Contact phone number/Fax: 2814 007442. The West Crete ELO operates under the auspices of the Chania Bar Association (CBA) Heraklion, managed by the project coordinator on behalf of CBA, Mrs. Maria Maniadaki, lawyer. Its area of responsibility includes the Regional Units of Chania and Rethymno. The West Crete ELO is based in Chania, 43, Iroon Polytechniou Avenue, GR 731 32.
