The Ministry of Environment and Energy - Coordination Office for the Implementation of Environmental Liability organized two (2) Training Seminars for lawyers in Chania and Heraklion, on November 29 and November 30, respectively.

This action was implemented in collaboration with the project’s beneficiaries (namely UoC, CB, HSPN and HB)and is part of the awareness raising campaign of the project.

The seminars included eight (8) lectures, two (2) of which were presented by members of the Committee of Experts (ComExp), namely Mrs. Aggeliki Kallia-Antoniou and Mrs. Papathanasoglou Antonina (on behalf of the Greek Ombudsman and the ComExp member, Mr. John Sayas).

In the Training Seminar in Chania, 48 lawyers/judges and representatives of local authorities attended the event, while In Heraklion, 31 lawyers/judges and representatives of local authorities participated. Both events were promoted and presented in local media.
