The HSPN celebrated the European day for the NATURA 2000 Network and the LIFE's 25th Anniversary, on Monday, May 22, 2017. The HSPN, as a partner of the project LIFE Natura Themis, organized an event entitled “25 Years from the Directive 92/43/EEC and the NATURA 2000 Network in Greece: Evaluation, Assessment and Prospects”.
Many official representatives such as the Alternative Minister of Environment and Energy, participated in the event and several presentations regarding the event’s topic were given.
During the event leaflets of the project LIFE Natura Themis were distributed and an information banner was set up.
Τhe geoinformation map posts the prosecuting cases of crimes against species of wild fauna and flora known in NATURA 2000 areas.
